I was born, grew up and was educated in Saltash before leaving for successful 37 year career in the Metropolitan Police. I am the current Chairman of Carn Brea Parish Council and also Chair the Planning and Staffing Committees.

This is my second period of service on the Parish Council. I was a member of CALC's Executive Committee during my previous stint as a Councillor and enjoyed my time immensely. My interests lie in the areas of HR and our staff, in planning and the planning system, in the public health and care system, and in our constant drive to involve a more diverse selection of our citizens in the democratic process.
