New Chairperson required - Cornwall AONB Partnership

A Chairperson is required to provide leadership for the Cornwall (AONB) Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership. Lead 20 organisations to conserve and enhance Cornwall's Nationally Protected landscape.

Main Purpose of Role

To provide independent leadership to the Cornwall AONB Partnership.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

This is a voluntary role, but reasonable expenses will be claimable, based on Cornwall Council rates of payment.

To chair meetings of the AONB (Executive Board and Partnership) and to guide the Partnership Organisations in the agenda and approach to meetings.

To provide advice and guidance to the AONB team.

To champion the interests and advocate for Cornwall AONB and build support for the Cornwall AONB Vision, Strategy, Aims and Objectives of the AONB Management Plan (2022 – 2027) and for the work of the AONB Team and wider family.
