Funding links
Community Levelling UP Programme
Funding is available for community-level projects that support regeneration, resilience or wellbeing through the next round of funding under the Community Levelling Up Programme. Town and parish councils, community groups and businesses can apply for grants of between £5,000 and £200,000 are available to tackle local issues identified in Community Area Partnership Prioritisation Frameworks. Application process is open now and will remain open until December 2024 - or when the funding is fully committed - whichever comes first. Cornwall Council and Crowdfunder have come together with two funds that could support community projects in your area. Town and parish councils can apply and so can constituted 'not for profit' community groups. See the Crowdfund Cornwall page on the Crowdfunder website for other crowdfunding opportunities (including the Climate and Nature Fund) and examples of projects already funded.

Rural England Prosperity Fund
Town and parish councils, voluntary organisations and businesses in Cornwall can apply for new funding to improve their local area.
- The Rural England Prosperity Fund, awarded by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), will be delivered alongside the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Fund
Good Growth Fund
Town and parish councils are eligible to apply for Good Growth funding. Open funding opportunities in July 2023 include:
- Net Zero, Resilience and Green Skills (£2.9m) – For infrastructure and nature-based solutions that protect local businesses and community areas from the effects of climate change, such as flooding and coastal erosion.
- Strategies to Mitigate the Cost of Living (£5.5m) – Activity can include projects to improve energy efficiency or the creation/improvement to community green and blue spaces.

The DLUHC Community Ownership Fund helps community groups buy or renovate assets that would otherwise be lost to the community and has been opened to applications from local councils from the June 2023 bidding round - further details via the link below
